Mudgett's 2015 masterpiece, The Lovers, is the first of several works that the artist created which touch on the lovers theme. 

This monumental work depicts two figures, a male and female's strong embrace which culminates in a passionate kiss.

Here, the artist renders his subjects in bold, geometric lines and shapes in his signature monochromatic palette. Faces, bodies and hands interlock evoking a house shaped form. Clearly a scene of domestic bliss, yet perhaps there is more to these lovers than one can possibly imagine.  

This beautiful limited edition print was meticulously created after the original oil painting by master printers in Los Angeles, who worked closely with Mudgett to bring you this remarkable collection. This work was printed in an edition of 100 on museum-quality cotton Moab paper. To ensure authenticity, each print is signed and numbered in pencil by the artist on the front and stamped with the atelier seal on the reverse.
